Course Description
Architectural Skills II explores design communication media principles as they apply to architecture in two and three-dimensional representations. This course is part of a two-course graphic communication foundation sequence that includes Architectural Skills I. The two-course sequence is prerequisite to subsequent coursework in both architecture and interior design. Coursework includes both digital and analog media and emphasizes a student's design communication potential. Students compare and analyze different design communication media outcomes and methods, develop traditional hand-rendering techniques along with digital graphic communication skills and assess effective image-view selection.

Course Description
